Senior Video Editor & VFX Artist

Yaz Media is looking for a skilled Video Editor & VFX Artist to craft visually engaging content for a range of digital platforms. You’ll be responsible for editing videos, adding motion graphics, compositing effects, and collaborating with the creative team to bring concepts to life.

Edit complex multi-camera and multi-layer video projects with precision and a cinematic eye, optimizing for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) Craft compelling narratives by weaving together story structure, sound design, rhythm, and emotion — even from limited or abstract footage Perform advanced color grading and correction to ensure visual consistency and mood across all projects Apply visual effects, motion graphics, and compositing techniques to elevate the final product — from green screen keying to integrating 2D/3D elements into live-action footage Create high-end transitions, glitch effects, kinetic typography, particle effects, tracking, and match-moving Clean and enhance audio, sync dialogue, and mix soundtracks for final delivery Design and animate custom title sequences, lower thirds, logo reveals, and other branded motion graphics Work with directors, producers, and content strategists to interpret briefs and creatively execute concepts Ensure all deliverables are optimized for performance across platforms and formats Manage and organize large volumes of video assets and maintain an efficient post-production workflow

Proven experience as a video editor and VFX artist (portfolio or demo reel required) Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Blender) Solid understanding of post-production processes, color correction, and audio syncing Experience with 2D/3D motion graphics and compositing Strong storytelling skills with a creative mindset Ability to work independently and in a team setting Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
